Reigning Champ Wooldridge Breaks Through for First Easy-Kleen SLMS Win!

(May 31st, 2026) - It was not a matter of if, but a matter of when.

Tanton Wooldridge (#01) made history in 2025 by becoming the youngest champion in Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series history. But to some, there was one cloud hanging over the championship - no feature win.

Wooldridge used a model of consistency - posting four podiums and six top ten finishes - to secure the title one year ago, but victory lane eluded the 01 Motorsports team. In 2026, their goals were a little different - go out and win. And in just the second race of the season, Wooldridge and company accomplished just that by winning the Easy-Kleen Pressure Systems 150 at Speedway 660 on Saturday.

Wooldridge grabbed the lead on lap 120 after a spirited battle with Greg Fahey (#20) - the first laps led in feature competition for Wooldridge - and never looked back as he raced off to a memorable first career win, with Fahey and EIT Race Radios Pole Winner Braden Langille (#26) rounding out the podium, and Dylan Gosbee (#16) and Ryan Messer (#1) completing the top five.

Fahey had vaulted into the lead over Devin Snell (#10) during the final restart on lap 101 and began to pull away, but as the run began to unfold, Wooldridge reeled Fahey in and completed the pass. Fahey would ultimately settle for second - which was also a monumental day for the AEH Motorsports team who picked up their first career Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series podium.

Snell led the most laps on the day, pacing ninety (90) circuits and exchanging the lead several times in the early going with Langille, but on the restart after the final Clamdiggers Restaurant and Beach House Caution on lap 101, Snell’s car quickly faded as he sank all the way back to eighth place from the lead.

A field of eighteen (18) competitors entered the Easy-Kleen Pressure Systems 150, a race which took one (1) hour and seven (7) minutes to complete. Five (5) Clamdiggers Beach House Cautions slowed the pace, while the lead changed hands eight (8) times between four (4) drivers. Steve Halpin (#03), Kent Vincent (#8) and Fahey scored heat race wins.

Next up, the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series heads to Prince Edward Island and Oyster Bed Speedway for round three! The Universal Truck & Trailer 150 will take the green flag at 5pm on Saturday June 13th with a 5pm start time.
