(May 12, 2026) - A partner since the inception of the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series, King Competition will return for the 2026 season with a restructured partner program placing emphasis on rewarding race teams for their accomplishments on the track in 2026!
King Competition will present what could potentially be two prizes at each race, with a total dollar value of prizes up for grabs combining to potentially exceed $10,000 if claimed in their entirety.
The first prize is being dubbed the King Competition ‘Chasing the Checkers’ Award. This prize will be a $250 King Competition credit, awarded each race to the highest finishing driver who has never won an Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series feature in their career.
A second bonus is being placed on the line for drivers who win features in Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series competition. A feature winner will be eligible for a $1000 King Competition credit, if they are able to win their next start from a starting position that is no better than 50% of the field. If a competitor successfully wins the bonus, King Competition has committed to double down and increase the prize to a $2000 credit in their next start if they pull off the win, but this time they must start no better than 75% of the field. Should a competitor achieve this bonus, they will be eligible for the ultimate test - in their next start, they will be eligible for a $3000 credit, but they must win that feature from starting shotgun on the field.
Should a competitor win all three bonuses, that will accumulate to $6000 in King Competition credit - which, when combined with the $4000 to win any Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series event, would amount to $18,000 in total winnings over the three races.
“King Competition has been an integral partner of the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series since day one, and we are excited to welcome them back onboard in 2026,” said Series Director Denver Matchett. “Andrew Hicken wanted to get creative, reward drivers, and give fans extra storylines to cheer for, and certainly it seems these prizes will achieve that. We look forward to seeing who claims the ‘Chasing the Checkers’ prize at each race, and watching to see if any feature wins can double down and climb the mountain to earn the race winners bonuses.”
