(April 16th, 2024) - Less than a month remains prior to the kick-off of the 2024 Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series season, and it will all begin with a race at Petty International Raceway that will be presented by a well-recognized returning sponsor!
Saturday May 11th, 2024, the superstars of the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series will return to action in the Fog City Auto Spa 150 to commence an adrenaline filled season of competition in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. This will mark the second year of Fog City Auto Spa being a title sponsor, and this year promises to be even bigger and better.
With the schedule shifting compared to 2023 and Petty International Raceway now being the site of the opening round of 2024, the Fog City Auto Spa 150 will be a monumental race - not only commencing the new season, but also ushering in the start of the Easy-Kleen Pressure Systems era for the series.
The 2023 edition of the Fog City Auto Spa 150 ran under the hot Saturday night lights and a full moon at Petty International Raceway, having been rescheduled to early July after a rainout in June. It was a true war of attrition, with virtually every driver in the field facing adversity at some point. The excitement set up a dramatic late race duel between.race winner Cory Hall (#83), and eventual SLMS champion Dylan Gosbee (#16).
The win was a monumental one for Hall, who is ready to kick-off the new year defending his victory.
“The Fog City Auto Spa 150 is certainly a memorable race for me,” Hall said. “Getting my first SLMS win in this race was a big deal, but the circumstances surrounding the win - from mid-race mechanical scares to the intense battle with Dylan - made it quite memorable. I can’t wait to try and defend the win, and get to see the great team from Fog City Auto Spa at the track. Huge credit to them for stepping up to support the sport of racing, the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series, and Petty International Raceway.”
Fog City Auto Spa has been serving customers in the New Brunswick Port City of Saint John and surrounding communities since 2014. They specialize in a wide variety of automotive services and can be found at 1550 Manawagonish Road in Saint John. Ralph and the team have long been supporters of stock car racing, and notable can be found as a sponsor of sophomore Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series competitor Ryan Raynes (#94) car.

The Fog City Auto Spa 150 will be the first of six scheduled events on the 2024 calendar, which runs from early May to the middle of August. With races at Geary, New Brunswick’s Speedway 660 and Oyster Bed Bridge, PEI’s Oyster Bed Speedway in addition to River Glade, NB’s Petty International Raceway, there will be no shortage of action for fans coming up this summer.
50th Annual Radical Speedsport This Weekend
As anticipation intensifies for the 2024 season, the unofficial kick-off to the Atlantic Canadian race season is happening this upcoming weekend. The 50th Annual Radical Speedsport show runs from Friday April 19th through Sunday April 21st at the Moncton Coliseum in Moncton, New Brunswick.
