(August 16th, 2025) - On Saturday evening under the lights at Speedway 660, Devin Snell (#10) would break into the spotlight in a big way by wheeling to his first career Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series win during the Easy-Kleen Pressure Systems Ltd. 150. Snell drove hard and earned the biggest triumph of his career, driving from 15th on the starting grid and overtaking Greg Fahey (#20) for the top spot on lap 103 after some great racing up front. In the closing laps, Snell would check out as drivers continued to challenge for the runner-up position in his mirror.

The runner-up spot would ultimately be claimed by points leader Tanton Wooldridge (#01), who was in the mix and vying for the top spot throughout. Wooldridge would get around Ryan Messer (#1) for the final time with 12 laps to go to claim his fourth straight podium result while extending his points lead. Messer - the EIT Race Radios Pole Award winner - grinded it out for his podium effort, coming from the rear after making several pit stops to make adjustments.

Greg Fahey (#20) led a race high seventy-eight (78) laps but would fade to fourth in the closing stint - but still tying his career best result. Rounding out the top five was Ian Rasmussen (#81), who had a career day on the series posting his first top five run.

The race started with Messer leading the field to green, but it was outside pole sitter Dave O’Blenis (#48) leading the opening lap and claiming the top spot. That would hold until the race's first yellow on lap 24 for a three car incident in turn one. Greg Fahey (#20) would launch to the lead around O’Blenis on the restart, and only a few laps later O’Blenis would head pit side under green while following Fahey.

A dramatic moment came on lap 63 when Kevin Moore (#88) brought out the race's second yellow with a dramatic and crazy wreck that saw him launch over the turn 3 bank “Dukes of Hazzard” style. Moore would walk away from the wreck unharmed.

As the race progressed and passed the halfway mark, the battle for the lead began heating up with by times seven front runners nearly nose-to-tail. Wooldridge began putting pressure on Fahey for the race lead when the race’s third yellow came for contact between Marcel Leblanc (#30) and Lonnie Sommerville (#23) on lap 95.

On the restart, Snell would go from third to second around Wooldridge, and then begin stalking Fahey for the lead before making the pass. The races final yellow would fly for Brandon Albert (#37) on lap 113, and Snell would drive away in the restart as fans were treated to a spectacle for second place.

O’Blenis and Steve Halpin (#03) won ten-lap heat races to start the day and set the seventeen (17) car field. The Easy-Kleen Pressure Systems 150 saw two lead changes between three drivers, four caution flags, and was completed in 52 minutes and 56 seconds.

The win marked Snell’s biggest career triumph in a Super Late Model, and first in any form of regional series competition. Snell previously had wins in an open competition race at the Centre for Speed and in a Line-X Pro Stock division 75-lap feature at Speedway 660, but his win in the Easy-Kleen Pressure Systems 150 was by far the biggest.

Tanton Wooldridge will extend his points lead as we head to the 2025 season finale, the LV Auto Parts & Repair 200 at Petty International Raceway on Saturday September 27th. Stay tuned for a complete points update with one race to go!
