(June 15th, 2025) - The 2025 edition of the Universal Truck and Trailer 150 came down to a duel between the winners of the two previous editions of the race - but in the end, it was deja vu with Cory Hall (#83) leading every lap for the second year in a row. Hall earned his third consecutive Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series victory at Oyster Bed Speedway on Saturday night. And for the second year in a row, Hall did it in dominating fashion once again, leading every lap en route to both victories.

Hall started from the pole, but the win didn’t come without challenges as he had to get up on the wheel and earn it. Throughout much of the early stages, Hall had Tanton Wooldridge (#01) in his mirror for much of the first two-thirds of the race, and then had inaugural Universal Truck and Trailer 150 winner Dylan Gosbee (#16) attempting to chase him down on the final stint to the finish.

Wooldridge had started second and ran there much of the race, but lost the spot to Gosbee on the final 32 lap run to the finish after a caution for Brandon Albert (#37) and Lonnie Sommerville (#23) getting together. Wooldridge then had to fend off a hard charging Greg Fahey (#20), who nearly took the final podium spot but would settle for still a career best fourth place result. Darren MacKinnon (#18) rounded out the top five with a strong run.

The race was slowed by five cautions and was completed in 57 minutes and 24 seconds. It was a PEI sweep of heat races to start the day, with Gosbee, Kent Vincent (#8) and Darren MacKinnon (#18) taking checkered flags to start the day. Nineteen (19) drivers were in attendance.

There is a three week break before the Easy-Kleen Super Late Model Series returns to action, with round three being the ReCar 200 at Speedway 660 on Saturday July 5th. Before that, points will be up to date in the coming days.
