Cory Hall Keeps Stranglehold on Oyster Bed Speedway; Wins Universal Truck and Trailer 150!

(June 15th, 2026) - Cory Hall (#83) continues to assert dominance at Oyster Bed Speedway.

Hall wheeled his way to victory for the third consecutive year in the Universal Truck and Trailer 150 - while also capturing his fifth straight win at Oyster Bed Speedway in the process. It was a hard fought win for Hall who had to keep Robbie MacEwen (#40) at bay over the final eighty-eight (88) lap run to the finish as the leaders navigated lapped traffic.

MacEwen - the EIT Race Radios Pole Award winner - led the opening sixteen (16) laps before Hall took over the top spot. MacEwen kept Hall in his sights all race long, but would ultimately have to settle for second. In the closing laps, a battle unfolded for third place with Dylan Gosbee (#16) wheeling from the back of the pack with a damaged race car to overtake Ryan Messer (#1) in the final 10 circuits as they too worked through lapped traffic. Behind Messer, Darren MacKinnon (#18) ran a respectable race and crossed the line in fifth during his first start of 2026.

Hall led 134 laps en route to the victory, which made him the third different winner of 2026.

The dramatic moment of the day came during the first heat race, when a multi car wreck took out over half of the field. Steve Halpin (#03) and Mark Leclair (#51) saw their days cut short from the incident, while the teams of Dylan Gosbee (#16), Chris Hughes (#32) and Kent Vincent (#8) worked hard to get repairs made in time for the feature.

Twenty-two (22) teams entered the Universal Truck and Trailer 150, with twenty (20) taking the call to the green flag. The Universal Truck and Trailer 150 took 52 minutes and 48 seconds to complete. Three (3) Clamdiggers Beach House Cautions slowed the pace, while the lead changed one (1) time between two (2) drivers. MacEwen, Hall, and Messer all split heat race victories.
